The photo that works best
A recent photo of one person, facing the camera, with even light on the face. Waist-up or full-body is better than a tight selfie, because the clip includes full-body shots and the AI fills in what it can't see.
Pick an outfit you like. The clothes visible in the photo are carried through every shot, and anything the photo doesn't show is filled in to match the style. Objects in your hands are left out.
Why a photo gets rejected
Every photo is reviewed before rendering. When a photo is rejected, the job stops, the credits go back to your balance and you can upload another one right away.
- Celebrity or public figure: photos of famous people are always rejected.
- Looks under 18: the tool is for adults only.
- Face not clear: too dark, too far away, blurred, or covered by sunglasses, a mask or a hand.
- Heavy filters: beauty effects, cartoon styles or AI-edited faces confuse the review and the render.
Small things that make a big difference
Hairstyles and accessories are copied closely. If you wear glasses in the photo, you wear them in the clip; if you don't, they won't appear. The same goes for hats and facial hair.
For Trio, crop group pictures so each upload shows only one person. A photo with two faces makes it unclear who should dance in that spot.
Privacy
Photos are stored privately and used only to make your video. They are deleted automatically after 30 days, which is long enough to re-render a clip without uploading again. Only upload photos of yourself or of adults who agreed to appear.
